No citizen should ever be silenced or punished for speaking out. Government officials work for the people. Everyone should be encouraged to bring their concerns to the commissioners court and be heard.

The people are not an ATM. The money they provide to the county should be stewarded with great efficiency. We must manage expenditures so they do not exceed revenues.

Safety

We need to foster a respect for life, liberty, and property among our citizens. When everyone respects others, crime is greatly reduced and everyone is safer. That respect for all must start with local government.

Preparedness and Planning

Plans must be communicated clearly, with milestones. The county must be held accountable for delivering on its promises. Preparedness and thorough planning will allow us to do this for the people.

We work for the people, and the people always have a right to see what is done in their name.
